Reward Framework · Stage 2
How the Lead Quality Score Works
The Lead Quality Score is a 0–100 internal signal of how complete and credible a captured lead is. It exists to make sure creators are rewarded for sending real prospects — not spam, duplicates, or empty form fills.
By default, only leads scoring ≥ 70 earn the Stage 2 Generated reward. Institutions can raise or lower this threshold from Reward Setup → Stage 2.
What the score measures
-
Contact validity
Email format and deliverability checks, phone number format, and disposable-domain / blacklist filtering. Invalid or unreachable contacts score near zero.
-
Qualification field completeness
Required fields filled (name, intake term, program interest, country/region, consent) plus a bonus for optional fields such as current education level or budget.
-
Engagement signals
Time spent on the form, source attribution (UTM / referrer present), returning vs first-touch visitor, and link interaction depth before submission.
Scoring bands
| Score | Band | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 0 – 39 | Low | Likely spam or empty form fill. No reward earned. |
| 40 – 69 | Medium | Partial / unverified information. No reward by default. |
| 70 – 100 | High | Default threshold for the Stage 2 Generated reward. |
What the score never uses
Nationality, gender, age, ethnicity, religion, or any other protected attribute is never part of the score. Quality Score is a signal, not a demographic filter.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who sets the minimum quality score?
Each institution sets its own minimum in Reward Setup → Stage 2 (default: 70). Leads scoring below the threshold are still saved in the CRM but do not trigger the Generated reward.
Can the score change after a lead is submitted?
Yes. If contact validity is re-verified (e.g. an email bounces) or new engagement signals arrive, the score can be recomputed. Reward eligibility is locked once the reward has been issued.
What does the score NOT use?
Nationality, gender, age, ethnicity, religion, or any other protected attribute is never used. The score is a quality signal, not a demographic filter.
Can creators see the score on their leads?
Creators see whether the Generated reward was earned, but not the underlying score. Institutional admins can see the score per lead in the Leads CRM.
